Lighting

Key kicked her feet hard, diving down further into the dark water. The bay was never particularly clear, and now at night it was blacker than ever, but that did not matter. She had a mission to fulfil. Little eddies issued from her hands as she cut through the water, avoiding the various dark spots and sunken debris which reached for her from the depths, threatening to catch her. A fl ash of lightning transformed the water into a sea of white fire, the world around her thrown into binary contrasts…
